The thousand islands salad dressing is a standard offer in fast food restaurants but in fact, you can make it home, too, without any additives. This thousand islands salad dressing is prepared from cold pressed quality oils and the finest ingredients.
Blend the finely grated garlic, the mustard, the salt and the egg yolk until creamy.
Add the rapeseed and the chia seed oils into the egg base, first in drops and then in a thin flow.
Add the pepper and then the Tabasco, the Worcester sauce, the apple balsamic vinegar, the orange juice, the ketchup and the finely snipped parsley. Mix it all thoroughly.
This dressing is an excellent match with iceberg lettuce or/and tomato salads. The parsley can be replaced with dill or finely grated pickled cucumber. You can loosen the sauce with 20-30 ml cream, too if necessary.
