It takes only minutes to create a gorgeous dessert by pairing apples and American pancakes. A delicacy in its own right – but you can make it even more delicious and exquisite by sprinkling a few drops of apple balsamico crema on it before serving.
Peel the apples and remove their cores. Cut them into rings of about 5 mm.
Turn the apple rings in about 15 g of flour so that the pancake batter can stick more easily.
Mix the egg with the milk.
Mix the remaining 100 g of flour together with the cinnamon, the cokking soda, the salt and the powdered sugar. Add the egg-milk mix. Mix it until it is free of lumps. Let it rest for 3-4 minutes.
Heat the rapeseed oil. Dip the apple rings into the pancake batter and fry them until they turn golden brown in color. Serve it with apple balsamico crema and some powdered sugar according to taste.
